Anzac Thoughts and Feelings

This is My Writing about my feeling of the soldiers who died for us! Here is My Writing That I have Written for them.


 As I looked and stared at the Memorial I thought about what they did back in the days. I started to think about when they’re getting ready for war. Which made me sad. I suddenly felt happy when they all stopped. But a lot died for us. When we walked back to class I started staring at the memorial. Trying to see all the names before we left. I was thinking of sadness that they had. It was hard for them and their families. After we went in class I was thinking about things that made me sad about them injured. And probably their families waiting to see them. We started Writing but I was still thinking how hard it would be waking up really early and Men forcing them to do something for them. And to push themselves to do what they’re told to do.

Anzac Food Boost Morale

In our Zeal Zone Groups we did Cooking. And We Researched and Made a Presentation about how to make Anzac Biscuits. I hope you enjoy Our Presentation we made! Also we gave some to the Office And they said this was probably the best batch! I'll make more someday!!!

World War 1

Our Zeal Zone Group were Learning about ANZAC so we decided to make a presentation of the Soldiers when they started the world war. There's some interesting facts you might like I hope you Enjoy!!!

In The Staff

On Thursday at school was the polyfest. Everyone went except for Me Melaia,Trinity,Shelford and Mohamad. We went with Tito to finish off our hyperstudio Hokulea stack. At Morning tea we quickly ate our lunch and went to the staff to see if the staff needed help. When we got there Miss Flavels told us  what we had to do in the staff. I had to stick yellow tape on the juniors book and we had to look for the peoples name on the paper and write their room number.

It was lunch time we ate in Mrs Kings room that was our class for today. I heard myself get called at the office because I had to help Miss Tamatia with Lunches a lot of the junior block ordered pizza bread so I went to the village to get there orders right I hope I did I said in my head I ran back to do more. until I finished I asked if they needed help it was finished so I came back as the bell rang it was home time

Polyfest 2015

Kia Ora, talofa lava, malo e lelei, faakalofa lahi atu, kia orana, bula vinaka, namaste and greetings!!  It’s Pasifika week in Aotearoa, this means it’s a week long celebration of all things Pacific.  This includes the birthday dance we had with Mrs Tele’a!  Part of the celebration is the Polyfest!  This Thursday we are planning to travel to Manukau to take part in some workshops and then visit stages.  The two stages we will be visiting will be the Maori and Diversity stages.  Did you know that this event - the Polyfest celebrates 40 years since it’s beginning?  Awesome isn’t it!  Everyone comes to celebrate kapa haka and many other groups .There's food you can buy and many different cultures you can see.

it's fun that you can see many cultures and try there foods. Tamaki and there family's are participating in the wonderful events there's even clothes you could buy from another country and taste there sweets.

First day at school

here is what i did on my first day

When I woke up I quickly got dressed for school and when I arrived I saw kids excited. Isn’t it cool to be a year 7. I went to line up to go to the hall to see what class i’m in. Everyone was here so Mr Burt My Principal came in and started talking to us what class we would be in. Then we went in the senior block and went inside I was in class 5. Our Teacher was Miss Peato. It was FUN being here it was so different I still miss my old Teachers to.

The Teachers started Telling us about them it was cool then we started learning. RING RING RING By 11 it was morning tea everyone was getting hungry so we started eating inside “YUM”

Then we started doing Art that’s one of the things i like we started drawing and then when we were finished we had to colour it in. It was hard School was nearly finished so we sat down and waited till the bell rang yay it did that was the best first day at school.

In The Weekend

This is what I did in the weekend it was fun we looked at the phone shop and we played on the phones it was fun I hope you enjoy!!!

In the weekend we me and my sister went to Silvia park Hoyts to watch a movie it was called Alexander something we went to pakin save to get some popcorn we had BK for lunch it cool I brought some new shoes at the warehouse. We were looking around the mall to see what there was!!! Later on we brought dinner and went in a taxi back home. I was tired when we came back it was a busy day.

The lost Pirate Ship 2 The Adventure Begins

I still remember My dreams Here is part two!!!

We were stuck on an island where no one can see us. So we made a boat with leaves that didn't work so we got some wood we covered up the holes with leaves. We made our own boats so it won't sink!!! We finally finished making our boats we went sailing day and night we went fishing and ate fish. And went a long way luckily we didn't get eaten by "SHARKS" that was a mission. Imagine sailing around the world and the water will be dark so you can hardly see anything in the water!!! Anyway we found a spare boat because mine started sinking we made it to shore. we found a secret hideout in the waterfalls that was our house. So we were on an island but their was allot of food anyway we had a boat that can go anywhere SHAVANA WAKE UPPP!!! THE END!

The lost Pirate Ship

Hi This is a story I made I had a dream of it too! Read My new adventure story and you'll find out what happened and what I dreamed. I hope you like it!

At night time I quickly ate dinner and went to sleep I started to dream of pirates taking gold and I was in it to my sister and mum and brother was in it they were angry What happened I said "SOMEBODY" STOLE OUR PIRATE SHIP" we should go find it I saw a letter on the sand to who ever I am using your pirate ship you might get it back only if you find it. From... I didn't really understand what he/her was saying we got to go on a adventure. WAKE UP!

Up North

This is when we went up north I learned many things up there this is what I did up North.

In the Morning we packed our bags and got ready. We made it to my Nana's house that's when everyone's coming so we had to wait for them. We all arrived so we had to fit in each cars me my Brother went in my Granddad's car my Sister and my Mum went with Nana. And my Uncle and Aunty went in there cars. Are we all ready just to check. We went off driving up north for hours and hours and hours it was long we finally made it to a marae. We were welcome in to see our great aunty she had passed away. We came in and took our shoes off we hugged each others everyone was crying and was sad my Mum did a will which means something for my great Aunty that she really wanted. We sat down and there were people talking in Maori and English. It was night time we ate after the people finished there speech.

We got our stuff out of the car and put it in the marae there were some pillows and mattresses we put a sheet and pillow on I fell asleep fast I was exhausted. In the morning we had break fast we got ready we started making our beds and cleaning our bags we went to get some gas because our car was nearly empty afterwards we went to the fish and chips shop we ate at the falls I forgot what it is called but it was cool it was fun but we weren't aloud to swim said my Mum . We finished eating and we got some bread and fed some to the ducks I nearly fell off in the water. It was deep" we came back and played outside it was nearly lunch time I was full I fell asleep I was tired it was night time nearly dinner I woke up and looked everyone was sleeping everyone else woke up and we ate some dinner we got to wake up early in the morning said my Mum.

It was the funeral Today we had a shower and got dressed in nice clothes we said our last goodbyes to my great Aunty we had our speech and covered her coffin with dirt we came back to the marae and stayed for a while.    

Whakapapa Board

Hello everyone,

 My maths class room 6 has been painting on our own Whakapapa Boards. My  teacher Miss Tito came in with Boards and paper. First we had to find some of our Mum's and Dad's culture designs. I was searching for Maori and Kiwi witch is Aotearoa yes New Zealand. On the next lesson we had to copy out the designs we picked for our cultures. On our paper that we had to copy out we used a pencil and once we finished drawing it we had to color it in with colored pencils.

Next once we finish coloring in our designs we had to use our own Whakapapa boards and start copying the drawing's again from the paper. When you are finish drawing everything on your Whakapapa boards then we had to have this painting test to check if we are good at painting carefully on our Whakapapa boards. Then if we pass the test then we are good to go we can paint but if you don't pass the test then you have to color in your Whakapapa boards. While we are painting  I painted a turtle and a flower it was fun

How to be a Successful Point Englander

How to be a Great point Englander

To be a great successful Point Englander you have to be kind and actually help others that are lonely and that need help. Like if someone's sad that they got no friends or just bored you can entertain them or try make them happy play with  them or find them new friends! that will make them happy. And if someone's new show them around the school so they know where to go.

You can help other people and get more popular when your older and learn many different things when your in college. remember to say excuse me when your going past or say please when you want something. Say there names don't say her or him and remember to not mock their names if you help people you can actually get new ideas to learn new things.



Listen to people don't ignore just be  polite then you might get a Duffy award or something awesome that you might like. You might be into books or maths or writing even you know if you mock people's outfit or other thing's they can get sad. All you have to be is nice that is a good "Point Englander".


If someone asks you a question tell them the question instead of yelling at them or hurting them. They can be annoying but just help them so they can get on with there work. If you don't and hurt them you can cause trouble or a fight that's just naughty.



The last thing to do is apologize for being mean or hurting them. Buy them a gift or a card a sorry card and they might be your friend again. You got to be nice and a awesome successful Point Englander!!!
