Swimming Reflection

This is my Swimming Reflection Have you ever been swiming before ? Every day for the past week room 13 has walked to the Glen Innes swimming pools. We went there to have a 30 minute swimming lesson. We have been having the lessons so that we can learn to be safe in the water.

It is important for us to learn to stay afloat so we can be safe. I was in group 1 with Toby. He was showing us how to have straight arms on the top of the kickboard. This was to help us get better at doing freestyle. He then showed us how to use crocodile hands at the bottom of the board. We also learnt how to do streamline swimming. Once we had learnt all of these skills Toby helped us to practice our freestyle by holding our boards while we were doing arm circles and kicking.

One thing I need to keep practicing is my streamline because I keep bending my arms when they should be straight. Something I am not good at is staying afloat in the water but if I keep practicing I will get better.
