The life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly

This is about a life cycle about a monarch butterfly. The life cycle starts as a tiny egg that changes through different stages, that turns inside out and becomes a butterfly.

Eggs
The life-cycle begins with the female butterfly attaching the egg near to a milk weed plant. Then she lays it there and waits so when it turns into a caterpillar it has something to eat. The egg is tiny, round and has ribs.

Caterpillar
Then the little egg has come out it will be a little baby caterpillar and grow and eat lots and lots until he will turn his skin inside out and lay their.

Chrysalis
Then it will hang upside down for a while the chrysalis or (pupa) is the transformation stage within which the caterpillar tissues are broken down and the adult insect’s structures are formed. The chrysalis could be brown or green.

Butterfly
The chrysalis will open up and spread out the wings and then become a butterfly Both butterfly will  start courtship and then mating and out will come another egg.
