The Dark Forest

This is a story i made up and it's called the dark forest it's going to be a scary story. I hope you enjoy

In the afternoon I heard a "CRASH! of lighting and thunder when suddenly I  heard a person yelling for help before I could even run outside the person had disappeared I thought I was seeing things but I wasn't.
I walked through the dark forest thinking of my worst nightmare. I saw something run past as I looked around "WHAT" WAS THAT! as I started running back to my house the day later my brother was gone it came all over the news even on the radio I never got to see him again so it's just me
 My mum died since I was three years old and my dad had a car crash and my cousin was in the car so i'm the only one in the house That's why I live bye myself

2014 Reflection

This is my reflection what my goal is and what I need to learn next year.

The first thing Im proud of is my Reading progress and getting things done like my blog post I like posting new things and learning new cultures at the same time I like finishing things off like my work so I don’t have to do it tomorrow I want to be better next year so I can level up and finish my work off

I’m proud of my writing to because I can work myself and im faster at writing so I can post it on my blog.



I’m Proud of netball because it’s a very fun thing to do I played for 3 years at my old school at Ptengland School I played for a half a year I like playing heaps of sports running makes me proud to because you might get an award or something. I like spending times with my friends it’s lots of fun you can do heaps of things with them they even might come to your house.


I Really want to level up on my Reading because I’m gonna be a year 7 next year and I want to be better than I was. I really need to do my maths I’m getting there I just need to move up a level than i’ll probably do better because I want to learn and pass my maths test. Reading is the thing I need to learn I want to level up to 11 so I can do better and learn heaps.


I Really can’t wait for next year I really need to learn heaps my goal is to try my best at learning for next year!!!

In The Weekend

This is what I did in the weekend it was fun we looked at the phone shop and we played on the phones it was fun I hope you enjoy!!!

In the weekend we me and my sister went to Silvia park Hoyts to watch a movie it was called Alexander something we went to pakin save to get some popcorn we had BK for lunch it cool I brought some new shoes at the warehouse. We were looking around the mall to see what there was!!! Later on we brought dinner and went in a taxi back home. I was tired when we came back it was a busy day.

The lost Pirate Ship 2 The Adventure Begins

I still remember My dreams Here is part two!!!

We were stuck on an island where no one can see us. So we made a boat with leaves that didn't work so we got some wood we covered up the holes with leaves. We made our own boats so it won't sink!!! We finally finished making our boats we went sailing day and night we went fishing and ate fish. And went a long way luckily we didn't get eaten by "SHARKS" that was a mission. Imagine sailing around the world and the water will be dark so you can hardly see anything in the water!!! Anyway we found a spare boat because mine started sinking we made it to shore. we found a secret hideout in the waterfalls that was our house. So we were on an island but their was allot of food anyway we had a boat that can go anywhere SHAVANA WAKE UPPP!!! THE END!

The lost Pirate Ship

Hi This is a story I made I had a dream of it too! Read My new adventure story and you'll find out what happened and what I dreamed. I hope you like it!

At night time I quickly ate dinner and went to sleep I started to dream of pirates taking gold and I was in it to my sister and mum and brother was in it they were angry What happened I said "SOMEBODY" STOLE OUR PIRATE SHIP" we should go find it I saw a letter on the sand to who ever I am using your pirate ship you might get it back only if you find it. From... I didn't really understand what he/her was saying we got to go on a adventure. WAKE UP!

Up North

This is when we went up north I learned many things up there this is what I did up North.

In the Morning we packed our bags and got ready. We made it to my Nana's house that's when everyone's coming so we had to wait for them. We all arrived so we had to fit in each cars me my Brother went in my Granddad's car my Sister and my Mum went with Nana. And my Uncle and Aunty went in there cars. Are we all ready just to check. We went off driving up north for hours and hours and hours it was long we finally made it to a marae. We were welcome in to see our great aunty she had passed away. We came in and took our shoes off we hugged each others everyone was crying and was sad my Mum did a will which means something for my great Aunty that she really wanted. We sat down and there were people talking in Maori and English. It was night time we ate after the people finished there speech.

We got our stuff out of the car and put it in the marae there were some pillows and mattresses we put a sheet and pillow on I fell asleep fast I was exhausted. In the morning we had break fast we got ready we started making our beds and cleaning our bags we went to get some gas because our car was nearly empty afterwards we went to the fish and chips shop we ate at the falls I forgot what it is called but it was cool it was fun but we weren't aloud to swim said my Mum . We finished eating and we got some bread and fed some to the ducks I nearly fell off in the water. It was deep" we came back and played outside it was nearly lunch time I was full I fell asleep I was tired it was night time nearly dinner I woke up and looked everyone was sleeping everyone else woke up and we ate some dinner we got to wake up early in the morning said my Mum.

It was the funeral Today we had a shower and got dressed in nice clothes we said our last goodbyes to my great Aunty we had our speech and covered her coffin with dirt we came back to the marae and stayed for a while.    

Whakapapa Board

Hello everyone,

 My maths class room 6 has been painting on our own Whakapapa Boards. My  teacher Miss Tito came in with Boards and paper. First we had to find some of our Mum's and Dad's culture designs. I was searching for Maori and Kiwi witch is Aotearoa yes New Zealand. On the next lesson we had to copy out the designs we picked for our cultures. On our paper that we had to copy out we used a pencil and once we finished drawing it we had to color it in with colored pencils.

Next once we finish coloring in our designs we had to use our own Whakapapa boards and start copying the drawing's again from the paper. When you are finish drawing everything on your Whakapapa boards then we had to have this painting test to check if we are good at painting carefully on our Whakapapa boards. Then if we pass the test then we are good to go we can paint but if you don't pass the test then you have to color in your Whakapapa boards. While we are painting  I painted a turtle and a flower it was fun

How to be a Successful Point Englander

How to be a Great point Englander

To be a great successful Point Englander you have to be kind and actually help others that are lonely and that need help. Like if someone's sad that they got no friends or just bored you can entertain them or try make them happy play with  them or find them new friends! that will make them happy. And if someone's new show them around the school so they know where to go.

You can help other people and get more popular when your older and learn many different things when your in college. remember to say excuse me when your going past or say please when you want something. Say there names don't say her or him and remember to not mock their names if you help people you can actually get new ideas to learn new things.



Listen to people don't ignore just be  polite then you might get a Duffy award or something awesome that you might like. You might be into books or maths or writing even you know if you mock people's outfit or other thing's they can get sad. All you have to be is nice that is a good "Point Englander".


If someone asks you a question tell them the question instead of yelling at them or hurting them. They can be annoying but just help them so they can get on with there work. If you don't and hurt them you can cause trouble or a fight that's just naughty.



The last thing to do is apologize for being mean or hurting them. Buy them a gift or a card a sorry card and they might be your friend again. You got to be nice and a awesome successful Point Englander!!!

After Jack and Jill fell off the hill they  came to see if it was okay. heard a sound that must be found still they had to fill water after that there was a raft YAY! for jack and jill then... jack and jill climbed back up the hill to fill a bucket of water Jill had a crown and lost her crown and Jack was full of laugher after that was rummbling noise hey what's that running back down the hill never to see jack and jill

How to stay safe in the sun?

Today I learned how to stay safe in the sun if your at the beach or going somewhere on a sunny day here are my explanation of how to stay safe in the sun. I hope you enjoy!!!!

Do you want to have skin cancer? If not then here is some things to keep you safe

1. wear sunscreen before you play outside.

2.wear a hat if you want to play outside.

3.stay in a shady spot if you got no hat

4.remember to drink something to get energy

5. stay away from the sun you can get sun burnt

One sunny day there lived three ugly trolls that lived under the hill. One day there was a little boy walking over the hill to pick blueberries. One troll scared the little boy on the bridge and said get off before I knock you over The little boy ran away quickly Yikes!!! The next day there was a little girl named Susan. As she walked  over the bridge two trolls came and tried to scare Susan but she wasn't scared Susan made a plan and pretended to be a goat like the three billy goat's gruff Then the troll was scared because last time the big billy goat knocked his brother off and his brother never came back! The three trolls ran away luckily
Susan was a bit scared.

Laser strike

Hi this is what I did in the holidays I went to laser strike in Wellington it was fun have you ever been? Read my interesting story to get ideas! I hope you enjoy!!!!

Me my brother and sister went to laser strike with my Aunt Sheri and Alex. We got up early in the Morning and got dressed in nice clothes. We ate something and brushed our teeth ready to go. Our Aunty arrived  let’s go We went in. What was that we looked out. The power was out we saw the light off there was no internet connection pamure laser strike was closed so we looked on the map where to go. wellington Laser Strike will be open let’s go! we went past mt Roskill where my Nana lives

We looked in we saw a lot of kids and adults waiting for their turn there was cameras so we can watch them play on the TV after they had finished their lights flashed on they were talking all about it. Hey” do you guys want to play? said the lady that works their. Yes please four of us want to play okay that will be $24 dollars for four games. We went in where all the gear was and laser guns Don’t worry they're not real! we watched a big TV Screen that showed us the rules no cheating for an example you can’t cover your gear when they  shoot you don’t take it off either. No swearing and you have to hold the gun with two hands don’t get angry when you lose!

Ready do you know the rules and how to play? yes as we put our gear on. We went in READY! said my aunty Ready said me and my sister Sapphire. We ran through the dark path it was spooky but cool. We splitted up you go that way” and I go this way sapphire go down watch out for the mines try to attack their goal we were team red as always I saw the mine gonna blow me up so I ran and jumped WOW! that was awesome!!! GAME OVER said this voice the lights turned on that was the best game ever” We finished all our  rounds of games we got frozen slushies and went to burger king.

Finally we made it to my Nana's house to eat our lunch. We stayed for six days nearly a week it was awesome we said thanks to my aunty before she left and Alex too

maybe next time we can go again!

The trip to the Museum!

Last Thursday We went to the Museum to see many different thing's. It was so cool We also went in a marae to see what they use to eat and how to catch fish they use nets to catch white bait YUM! Then we ate our lunch. after we finished we lined back up we got to look around I saw dinosaur bones a Moa it was awesome! we also went in this house where the volcano erupts and it shakes that's my favourite I found cool things it was so amazing  These are the pictures at the Museum

Samoa Writing

Our Literacy class has been making a story that something bad happens to the but they have to fix there mess up. I hope you enjoy!

Once upon a time there 3 travelers going to samoa. One was named Shavana that’s me of course the other was Rowana. And the last one was Melane Our boss. Shavana had work on the boat and Rowana was cooking a Barbecue well Melane was sleeping inside the boat. “Hurry up you lazy pigs” SHAVANA! “hurry up and work” AND you SMELLY” cook the barbecue said Melane. Who me YES! YOU” and help Shavana when your finish.

Rowana quickly sneaked in the boat and started the engine What are you doing? I said our boss is sleeping in the boat. who care’s she won’t know I care you're gonna get us fired. Why are you a scaredy cat? NO! I said as I went on the boat I was the boat driver.

Rowana was at the back looking at the beautiful fishes. Rowana Never said anything when I told her a question. I looked behind me and Rowana fell off HELPPPP!!!!! by the top of her lungs. PLEASE” “HELP” SHAVANA UMM! stay where you are i’m coming AHHHHH!!!! SHARKS I didn’t know what to say so I said GRAB MY HAND! I fell off  something grabbed my  leg OUCH! it bit me what was it I grabbed the side of the boat and fell off again and the life guards came to save Rowana. I was still under water.

Luckily I kicked the thing that bit me I found a person on a kayak “PADDLE”  “PADDLE” I said um I don’t know how to so I quickly pushed him out of the kayak and paddled my way to the beach I saw a little girl she looked at me and said MONSTER! MONSTER! and ran off stupid girl I took the seaweed off me yuck.

Rowana was safe so was I AHH said the guy in the water. SHARK!  We finally  UH OH!  we catched a bus back. and went in the airport ready to go SHARK ATTACK! Melane was in the boat. She lived in the boat forever luckily she had a fishing rod to fish for fish.

Shavana and Rowana happily catched the bus and walked to the airport back to New Zealand.

My Weekend

Last week me and my Brother,Sister and Mum went to my Nana's birthday No one was really there so we sat down waiting for them to come. First my aunty came and we still waited. Then allot of family's kept coming it was awesome! It was time to dish our plates there were chicken sausages and patty's and much more. We all got full some were going to go. Until my Nana said don't go come have some dessert they all ran to dish there dessert after everyone stuffed there belly's with cupcakes we sang the happy birthday song we waited until my Nana made a wish and blowed the candles. "HURRAY! as everyone "cheered the cake was a velvet cake with topping on the top it was yum!

The Neighbour next door

Last night when I woke up I saw a shadow in the dark moving very fast as my heart started pounding. I ran to my lamp and turned on the light there was nothing there was just my brother sleeping. WHAT”S YOUR PROBLEM? as he woke up sorry as I went back to sleep. At six in the morning I woke up and made pancakes with whipped cream. Breakfast is… I sat on the couch and watched the news. There were people screaming for help I kept watching. The news lady said there was a girl missing in our area  about 7 years old have you seen her.

I was scared that might happen to me I quickly turned the tv off and called James and told him everything that happened on the news as he was munching on a pancake. He said who cares it’s just a fake he got the maple syrup and put it on his pancake. come on! what if that’s gonna happen to us you're such a baby. Fine then I said as I walked off It was in the afternoon I never saw my brother I was searching for him but he was never found I called the police but he was gone. My name is Jill I am 17 years old I’ve been looking for him everyday.

I saw that shadow I was going to my cousins house his name is Bradley we had takeaways for dinner it was bedtime I saw a person in a black hoodie he was sneaking I ran next door where my cousin lived he wasn’t there what the I found out my cousin killed my brother I followed him and called the police luckily my brother wasn’t dead I found him tied up I untied him we found the little girl who got taken she was safe.

Lost In The Forest

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Joseph who lived in a cottage with his mother. His mother told him to get some blueberries she's making blueberry pie for supper. As Joseph was walking down the hill finding blueberries he walked so long he stopped and looked around he saw blueberries they were very huge so he picked them off the tree. the basket was full so he went back to the way he came from.



Where am I? am I lost he couldn't find his way home he saw a old lady walking to her garden. so he followed her excuse me Joseph said. The old lady turned around how may I help you. Um have you seen a little cottage that's the colour brown? or do you have a map my mother told me not to talk to strangers you never know. Um no but I can help you thank you very much are you hungry said the old lady with a evil grin.


No thanks I just need to go home it was four in the afternoon it's gonna get late if I don't find my way home come on said the old lady just for a few minutes Okay then said Joseph as he walked in Joseph found a map under the table as the old lady wasn't looking Joseph new something weird about her so he took the map Joseph went out the door the old lady trapped him inside your not going any where she turned evil and ugly Joseph made a plan he said nah nah nah  you can't catch me the lady got angry and and tried to get him she couldn't Joseph tripped over the lady and climbed out the window ha ha he said as he ran off Joseph came home safely luckily the old lady couldn't get up ha ha

Cranky gran

There was an old Cranky lady Name Susan. But we call her Cranky Gran because she’s the most Cranky stinkiest Gran in the world. Every time a little girl,boy walks past her house she would say HEY” YOU!!!  GET OF MY PROPERTY NOW!!!

and would throw her slipper at the kids. The kids never get used to that. Anyway she’s my Gran.

In the Morning my Mother came rushing in WAKE UP! AHH! I had a little fright it’s your Gran’s birthday WHAT!!! you mean CRANKY GRAN!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Im doomed for ever don’t worry where only staying for 2 hours 2 HOURS 2 HOURS I fainted a little but my mum didn’t care she just tipped water on me. Eat breakfast and get changed where going soon

Oh Man I tried to stay home it was no use my mum was  ready to go. She yelled out the car ARE YOU READYYYYY!!! sure what ever we arrived there was no kids there were old lady’s playing bingo BINGO!! shouted one lady shut up said the other one. This is boring is it 2 hours now no” we just got here I'm bored hi bored fine go to the shops and buy you something

before i went to leave My Cranky Gran came running give your gran a kiss kiss ewww! no I quickly ran off before she put her sloppy lips on me. I quickly brought 2 pies for me and mum Gran couldn’t chew pies she’s got no teeth mum wanted to go home because she didn’t like bingo We sneaked out the door HEY WHERE YOU GOING!!! said Gran  NOOOOOO!!!

Our pohutukowa group has made a video about catching a bus in Samoa. First we planned it then we recorded it with an ipad then we went on one of the iMacs and created an I Movie  and drawed a bus at the end of the video we quickly looked for ideas we finally finished.

Here are some facts about Samoa.

1. In Samoa there is no bus timetable.
2.If there are no seats  you have to sit on someone or sit on the floor.
3.You have to wave your hand out so the driver can see you.
4.You have to pay when you get off the bus
5. And last you have to be on time!

World War 1

 World war 1 had started on June  the 28th 1914. In the world war 1 there was over 37 million of people who died. In the war they used lots of different kind's of machine guns and snipers.  World war 1 was probably not available because the population of Germany was increasing rapidly, and they were running out of soldiers.

The countries that joined the war was British Empire,Italy,France,United state's and more.When the world war 1 finished they were all happy  to come back home and meet there families. but was sad that maybe one of there dad's died. There was people who died in the world war 1 and people who had broken arms and legs.They had to use walking sticks so they could walk.It was very very sad because the people who didn't survive didn't get to meet their family ever again.

My Holidays

WOW!! that means he need”a birthday present. We

got him a card and some wonderful gifts. They just moved into a new house. When we made it to my cousins house we saw a lot of our families. They were welcoming other families and getting ready for the candles to put on the cake, We were getting excited. My Aunty lit up the candles and we all sang the happy birthday song and waited for my cousin to blow the candles. Hurray said my uncle as we dished our plates there were


yummy cupcakes my Aunty made and chop suey with potato salad yumm I said as my tummy was getting hungry there was a lot of chicken we have all eaten and waited for the birthday boy Lucas he was still eating. He loved the cupcakes! Some family were going because some had work .It was the birthday presents to give to my Cousin Lucas ran to the presents and opened it. He got wolf slippers from my aunty and some


chocolates from my uncle and a warm cozy jumper that suits the pants for winter he loved his things he got by us 5:00 we were relaxing on the couch well the rest were leaving. They were saying goodbye to each other will see you soon bye!

SINK! Well The Titanic was called the unsinkable. Until CRASH!!!! the boat was sinking now that’s sinkable There should be more and more lifeboats. The titanic was made in 1912 and was built for the passengers to stay. The titanic can travel to england to new york and can hold 2,223 passengers the titanic would sail along carrying passengers they have a captain named Edward Smith The titanic sunk because it hit the iceberg and scratched the side of the titanic then it began sinking and sinking until it reached the top of the ship the passengers following the guards to the lifeboats to survive. The titanic should survive so the people can live and do things without the titanic people will have no homes and can’t eat without the titanic’s help. the captain should of built another titanic boat and make it safe.

Badminton

This is about badminton how we learned heaps of new things I hope you enjoy!


Going to badminton. We did warm ups by playing stuck in the mud. it was very easy! Then we did back hand we got our rackets from our Badminton Teacher. Finally our class got it right we had our last lesson we had to whack the shuttle to the other person my buddie was Melaia. it was fun and funny at the same time. We quickly said goodbye to the Badminton Teacher and went back to class.

Mr Stink

This is a story about Mr Stink. Do you know what happens in the story?

Once there lived a stinky old man that lived on the streets they call him Mr stink. Because was the stinkiest stink of all. his dog was stink too but instead he stank more. All the people in the cottage didn't like him because he doesn't have a shower and also has bit’s of food in his beard. in the morning the people in the cottage would always say. You stink when did you have a shower.

That just made him sad. He will always sit on the bench even when it's snowy it was the afternoon Mr stink met this girl called Chloe they began to be friends. that time went past Mr Stink had died but Chloe will always know Mr Stink.

Using a knife and fork

Do you wash your hands before you eat? Well you Should because if you don’t you will get germs and spread it to other people! That will embarrass you if someone sees you doing that you will also embarrass the visitor.

Keeping Clean

You should keep clean and use your knife and fork to eat meat or salad because you do not want to get dirty and sticky hands you could spread the food to visitors and maybe your family too!

Manners

do you have Manners when you're eating food you should wash your hands before eating. Manners is when

you eat with a knife and fork and ask polite to other people like your family or friends.

That is why you should use your knife and fork ask someone if you need help cutting your food don’t be a pig and shove it in your mouth.
