But one day there was a dragon he bit Jack and flew away. The next day Jack had dragon scales and became friends with the dragons.

Film Festival

Hi this is my writing about film festival I hope you enjoy.

                         

Yesterday we went to the Makanalani film festival to watch all the school movies. We went to hoyts it was really dark and it was cool  and fun. I was very excited to see it but my favorite part is when Rowana was talking about who pushed humpty? We found out that it was Shaitarn. My friend Kaitlynne had a part that was funny she was really embarrassed.

Then we watched all the other movies there was one that was funny and it was when this boy wanted his royal paper so the maid brang his paper but his royal paper was toilet paper I was laughing as hard as I could it was so funny.

We went back in the bus back to school and had lunch it was cool and hopefully they could make more movies and I hope there can be more movies next time.   

Athletics

On Friday we had Athletics Day. There was a buzz of excitement. It was a sunny day. there are four house colours. I was in Matatua that is green

the second colour is Te Arawa that is red and the third is takitumu everyone thinks it’s the best and that colour is yellow. and blue  is Tainui. we were going to start now. We went across the field to Do sprinting. I was a bit nervous that I will come last I wanted to give it a try I said in my head.

Ready steady I got more nervous I was sweating everyone was cheering for me and the other girls that was racing me. GO! I Ran as a leopard could I was nearly about to slip but I slowed down and i came forth I said in my head that wasn’t that bad at least I didn’t come last. I saw all the seniors doing discus I wanted to do that i said to my friend Kaitlynne and Mele we now changed over we now went to discus I wanted a try I did get a turn but Mr burt kept telling us to change and change we went to High jump i was just about to jump but it started raining we all went inside maybe we can do high jump next time I said smiling.

Kahu Ora

Hi everyone Do you know what kahu ora means well here is my Audioboo and I will tell you what it means.

Marama and her dad went to the Te papa to look at the Kahu Ora exhibition. Kahu Ora means that there are living cloaks. They went upstairs to the house of weaving and looked at the korowai, there were lots of different ones. Marama saw one that looked soft and cuddly like her teddy. They wanted to know what was special to their whanau. Marama and her dad were looking for special things to learn about. Marama saw the feather cloak it was called Kahu Huruhuru which came from their iwi.
